Michael Allen Zeiler is welcomed to ShéLor's School of Dance for the Summer Workshop teaching voice to ShéLor's students.  He is currently a junior music education major at Slippery Rock University (SRU), with a concentration on voice.  He is currently running five semesters on the Dean's List.  Michael has held several positions such as Drum Major of the SRU Marching Pride, Vice President of the University Choir, and a member of the Music Honorary Mu Phi Epsilon.  Michael's musical theatre experience includes the productions of Anything Goes, The Pajama Game, Footloose, Anne Get Your Gun, Amahl and the Night Visitors.  Recently, Michael had the opportunity to travel to London, England to study musical theatre and perform for a local theatre company.  Michael's choir experience includes Mixed Chorus at Highlands High School, Concert Choir at HHS, Madrigals at HHS, Concert Choir at SRU, Men's Ensemble at SRU, and Chamber Singers at SRU.  Furthermore, he has participated in the first and second annual Cabaret Concert hosted by SRU's voice majors.  Michael has also performed in a show choir called Variations from 1999-2003.  In 2002, he choreographed the songs "Baby It's Cold Outside" and "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch" that Variations performed.  To help further his education experience, Michael just completed fieldwork at North Allegheny's Caron Middle School.  He had the opportunity to work with 6th and 7th grade students, including a woman's ensemble.  Last summer (2005), Michael auditioned for American Entertainment Productions and was employed as a singer/dancer performer at Idlewild Park and Soakzone in Ligonier, PA.  Michael has had much performing experience and appreciates the opportunity to work with such a talented group of students.
